You will direct the Media Operations team in further developing technological capabilities as they are relating to the areas of Audio Video equipment, the operation of video conferencing equipment, digital signage systems and other new media and broadcast initiatives overseen by Media Operations. Identifies and drives changes needed to strategically adapt services in support of current and future needs of Cleveland Clinic.The ideal caregiver is someone who: Oversees standards for AV (Audio Video) design across the enterprise. Can manage maintenance of existing and delivery of new AV systems in both administrative and clinical settings. Has High-level management and leadership skills. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.Responsibilities:Assesses and leads the vision for current and future AV equipment purchases and installs to ensure consistency and functionality for the Cleveland Clinic enterprise.Oversees the digital/HD conversion plan as it relates to Media Production and AV. Establishes and maintains the technical equipment specifications for all Audio Visual and digital signage systems across the enterprise.Maintains operational uptime of digital signage Scala system across the Cleveland Clinic enterprise. Directs the outside vendor support and maintenance agreements for the Cleveland Clinic Intercontinental Hotel and the Cleveland Clinic Board of Governors.Manages the hotel's budget to obtain proper approval for equipment purchases, upgrades and oversees design and installs by vendors. Reviews and approves all Audio Visual designs and installations. Coordinates with internal departments (e.g., ITD, OCM and Institutes) on all Audio Visual install plans and build-outs to include Operating Rooms, Simulation Labs, Tele-pressure rooms, etc.Collaborates with ITD on any IT system components of those builds. Develops, defends and executes the annual enterprise Audio Visual recapitalization plan.Develops and implements practices, policies and procedures for the department.Focuses and guides leaders and employees in accomplishing work objectives; holding high expectations for self and others.Develops and monitors the compliance with departmental budgets, including capital, operating and construction budgets.Determines resource allocation and staffing levels in conjunction with respective leaders.Other duties as assigned.Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.Certifications:Creston /Extron programming certification a plexity of Work:Within the scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Audio Video Engineering and/or Broadcast Engineering and demonstrable training in various areas relating to Audio Video Engineering including programming and repair training may substitute for degree requirement.Three years management experience required.Experience in developing a 3-5 year capital plan required.Extensive knowledge of current broadcast technology and AV equipment, room design and installs with a solid background in HD and digital conversion needs and requirements (as they relate to production and AV).Ability to work with employees, interdepartmental teams, and organizational leadership across the enterprise to effectively complete goals.Exhibits the organization's mission and values and strives to achieve and sustain Cleveland Clinic Experience.Physical Requirements: Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC, and the ability to walk to parts of various hospital campuses to attend meetings.Must have normal or corrected vision, and the ability to verbally communicate to upper level management. Occasional lifting of 5 to 15 poundsPersonal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $48.99Maximum hourly: $74.71The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
