Position SummaryThe Executive Communications Director is responsible for developing executive communications strategies that align with and amplify the system mission, vision, values, strategies and goals. The Director acts as a strategic advisor to the Executive Vice President and other key organizational leaders on messaging and content development in support of broader communication strategy; provides strategic direction to executive communicators in the organization and support/partnership to business unit internal communications staff across the organization; oversees content development, turning complex ideas into engaging stories that are understood by broad audiences, and influences perception of the organization's strategic priorities, especially across the system's leadership.

This position is part of the corporate communications team.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or Public RelationsMinimum ten (10) years of experience in Journalism, Public Relations or related fieldExperience in health care setting preferredDemonstrated written communication skills - sample required

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $105,539.00 - $153,275.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
