***There is no “day in the life” of someone on the PSVC team—designing custom projects means doing something different most days. In general, you’ll:·
Design performance sound, video, and control systems using Revit and AutoCAD·
Calibrate/tune those systems onsite·
Write specifications, equipment lists, and budgets for your designs·
Explain technical concepts to non-technical people·
Work collaboratively·
Document, document, document
Your 3-7 years of experience includes time as a live performance audio engineer, AV systems designer, or sound designer and you have most of these skills and experience:·
Experience designing AV systems using Revit & AutoCAD·
Experience with loudspeaker modeling software·
Experience optimizing performance audio systems·
Knowledge of performance audio system components·
Knowledge of different loudspeaker manufacturers
You are:·
Quick·
Accurate·
Detailed to a fault·
Always looking ahead for avoidable problems
Consultant level. Salary range: $70,000-$85,000 with great benefits like no-cost-to-employee health, dental, and vision coverage. If you’re a more senior person with consulting experience who could do a consultant-level job with your eyes shut and more, we can talk about starting at a higher level.
