I. SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE

Develops and implements marketing communications plans & materials for assigned services and departments to support system-level strategy. Serves as a dedicated point of contact and general marketing consultant for key areas. Manages projects and internal client relationships to ensure messages and materials produced are accurate, timely and support the organization's brand.

II. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipates in the marketing plan development process by producing an annual plan for assigned service line marketing activities and contributing insights to support system-level strategy.Advises internal clients on marketing project requests and brand questions.Partners with project owners, teammates and consultants to ensure quality and consistency of marketing content and materials.Collaborates with team leads in media relations, content strategy and creative services as well as with external agencies and consultants to produce messages and materials that align with the brand.Uses knowledge of AP style and organizational brand style to produce written content for owned channels to support assigned service line needs.Plans and coordinates events as needed to support assigned service line marketing strategy.Uses software tools to document, track and archive project requests and materials.As a representative of the marketing department, develops and maintains strong relationships with leaders and teammates across the health system. Communicates effectively to build trust and manage client expectations. Uses understanding of department project workflow and resources to communicate timelines and requirements with internal clients.III. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field requiredFive years marketing / communications / advertising experience & fundamental understanding of branding principles requiredExamples of writing for multiple platforms and knowledge of AP styleExcellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skillsHealth care experience preferred
