The Zaxby's Support Center is looking for a

Director of Marketing Analytics

to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role will serve as an internal consultant to the marketing and loyalty teams. The individual will be responsible for examining all aspects of marketing to determine the effectiveness of campaigns, offers and media mix. This is a director level role that will be hands on with producing analysis and analytics.

This position plays an important role in the development of the audience targeting strategy through first- and third-party data sources and measuring the effectiveness of media strategy and tactics. This includes working with key stakeholders on audience identification and profiling and partnering with owned and paid media teams to execute, optimize, and measure campaigns and overall performance. The ideal candidate will understand the guest journey to connect experience and technology for measuring and optimizing media performance.

This position is based in

Atlanta, GA

and allows for a hybrid work schedule that includes 3 days spent in-office or traveling per week.

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Examine and compare the effectiveness of the various marketing channels in order to optimize media mix and how marketing dollars are allocatedAnalyze the results of promotional campaigns to provide insights and optimizations to improve performanceBuild and maintain a robust internal reporting cadence of the metrics relevant for marketing initiativesUse extensive amounts of user data to build audiences and targeting cohorts to enable relevant and effective promotionsMaintain and build upon data pipelines, tools, and processes that power campaignsRegularly present analysis and provide guidance to senior leadershipAssist loyalty manager in preparing financial analysis on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) offers, help to understand the anatomy of a discount, and build repository of financially viable offersIndependently develop process improvements resulting in the development of new technological ways to streamline and improve reporting efficiencyConsistently communicate across various functions and departments driving appropriate collaboration, coordination, analysis, and timing of deliverablesKEY COMPETENCIES

Solid understanding and background of integrated financial and reporting systemsHigh level problem solving and analytical skillsAble to manipulate and leverage large amounts of data into meaningful reportingAbility to identify and implement strategic objectives in area(s) of responsibilityExceptional analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategicallyStrong financial modeling and analysis skillsIntellectual curiosity and professional ownershipExcellent ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesAbility to package and present financial data/information in an executive manner focused on driving business decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organizationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative field; OR equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience: 7+ years finance experience; restaurant or retail industry experience is preferred
