MARKETING COORDINATOR – Marketing and Communications Department

We are currently looking for the right team member to join our Marketing and Communications Department. Marketing Coordinators prepare, research and write compelling content for proposals, presentations and other marketing documents and may assist with additional communications and branding efforts. Coordinators have exposure to technical personnel across multiple engineering disciplines within the firm. POSITION SUMMARY:

Remington & Vernick Engineers has an immediate opening for an experienced marketer to join our Marketing and Communications Department. The ideal candidate is a strategic and critical thinker with AEC industry experience who works effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative and deadline-driven environment. This position requires strong organizational and proofreading skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and handle client deadlines in a logical, calm and efficient manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES:Develop high-quality deliverables including client proposals, prequalification's, qualification packages, presentations, etc.Collaborate with staff of all levels including external teaming members and teaming partners, to develop persuasive, accurate content for marketing collateral that supports the firm’s brandConduct internet and market research as needed to support pursuits and strategic growthMaintain marketing database through data entry to track key information regarding pursuitsDevelop/maintain/update marketing boilerplate and reference material including content, project descriptions and resumesFacilitate and participate in project kickoff, status and other meetings as requiredManage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a quality work productUpdate information and generate reports in Deltek VantagePoint and MS ExcelQA/QC and edit client and internal communications, content, to ensure quality and branding complianceCommunicate with coworkers, management, clients and others in a professional manner; build and maintain effective and cooperative working relationshipsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skillsProposal experience preferredStrong attention to detail with the ability to successfully juggle multiple prioritiesDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite and AdobeStrong organizational, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detailDatabase aptitude to include proposal setup, file management and report processing (SharePoint, Deltek VantagePoint, etc.).Detail and client multi-tasker adept at managing deadlines.Professional services marketing experience in AEC industry a plus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, marketing, business or related field

3 to 5 years of proposal coordination experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use, typing, filing, lifting and organization. May require occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Local travel to various worksites may be required.
