The Senior Marketing Manager - Product Commercialization role will lead a multi-faceted team to help the Consumer North America (NA) team capture share with industry leading product launches that will help increase portfolio mix to unlock a higher-priced, higher-margin products that enable the sales team for success. This critical role will have three direct reports. This individual must be creative and analytical, supporting the overall Consumer NA Marketing team with strategic leadership while driving successful evolution with financial and quantitative discipline.

The Senior Marketing Manager will launch marketing strategies, playing an integral role in bringing new products to market in Goodyear Consumer NA to drive portfolio brands consumer demand. This position must understand the brand's current/future product portfolio and targets in order to create innovative go-to-market strategies that bring the brand to life and enable effective consumer communication that captures share.

United States/Canada Product Commercialization Launch Planning and Execution:

Strategic leader sitting at the intersection of multiple functional groups (Product, Category, Brand, Shopper, and Insights), breaking down barriers to ensure flawless commercial planning and launch execution on all Consumer NA products

Partner with the insights team to identify customer needs, market trends, growth opportunities, and understand the competitive landscape as it pertains to launches

Develop a centralized claims management framework to fuel more robust claims development in the future

Go-To-Market:

Ensure robust, 360 degree go-to-market and commercial planning support for all new product launches and key initiatives

Align marketing and communication strategies to drive end-user/shopper awareness and demand

Partner cross-functionally to drive process and performance improvements, ensuring efficient and scalable business functions

Ensure consistency of brand identity, best practices, and optimizations

Drive continuous optimization on launch media investment approaches

Marketing Resource and Program Management:

Evaluate technology landscape to identify and deploy tech-base solutions (Product Information Management [PIM]/Content Management System (CMS)/Workflow) to drive automation, process consistency, and improved governance

Lead and develop a best-in-class team leveraging Goodyear culture, leadership competencies, and core values as a guide

Innovation:

Develop next generation ways of working to implement integrated marketing management practices necessary for a multi-brand portfolio environment

Maintain a deep understanding of the always-evolving competitive landscape - Monitor competitive launches, track product trends, and keep a constant eye on the next big thing

Required Education and Experience

Bachelors degree

8 or more years of experience in Consumer Marketing with demonstrated success in supporting new product development and integrated creative productions

Experience in a corporate/multi-brand marketing environment

Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) or department budget

Experience successfully implementing change and managing complex technical projects

Desired Skills and Abilities

Master's degree
