Job Purpose:

This role is for our two hotels:

Grand Hyatt Nashville & The Union Station Nashville Yards.

Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for all departments within both hotel properties in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. Daily tasks include leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies.

Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channelsDevelop and training Media communication planDuring incidents: Partner with GM and Dir of Sales to communicate with mediaAbility to think creatively and innovativelyBudget-management skills and proficiencyProfessional judgment and discretionary skillsAnalytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges in the marketFamiliarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.Hand on working knowledge in creating multi media presentations, posters, signage and other collateralCoordinate and participate in target market trade shows and sales blitzes.Maintain good rapport with local civic groups and companies.In-depth working knowledge of social medial platformsOther duties as assigned.Job Skills:

Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and familiarity with brand specific property Management System(s).Ability to exercise excellent presentation, organization, time management and listening skills.Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel.Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to represent hotel in professional manner to mediaExcellent working knowledge in MAC/ Apple Computers and IOS operating system and Photos editing software

Requirements

EducationBachelor's Degree (associates degree considered) in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.Experience

Minimum 2 years hotel marketing experience or the equivalent amount of industry experience; OR, equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Salary Description

$85,000 - $90,000/ yearly
