Communications, E-Commerce, and Marketing DirectorJob Description SummaryThis position is responsible for driving new growth to Jewelers Trade Shop through online marketing activities, our website, and existing automated CRM programs and procedures. This position serves as an advisor and consultant regarding all marketing, communication, and online presence direction. This includes reviewing current activities, developing material, including content and other promotional materials, to ultimately help drive growth.Responsibilities include:STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT:Develop creative online and social media content that is innovative, engaging, and relevant to our customers while being consistent with Jewelers Trade Shop's branding.Stay updated on industry trends, social media trends, hashtags, and conversations to identify opportunities for real-time engagement and viral content.Explore and implement influencer collaborations, partnerships, and cross-promotion opportunities to expand our sales.Assist with other marketing functions as needed by management or department head(s).Support of automation-oriented marketing and communication processes across various systems and platformsDIGITAL CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, search engine marketing (SEM), and display advertising.Utilize data analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize conversion rates.Manage and monitor the performance of all creative assets and ad campaigns across all platforms.WEBSITE MANAGEMENT:Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company website, ensuring it remains user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.Create and manage product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions and high quality images.Produce and manage visuals and merchandise store website, updating product listings and assuring a seamless user experience.Manage online e-commerce stores.SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:Develop and execute social media strategies with internal teams and external partners to increase brand visibility, grow followership, and foster community engagement.Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation effectively.Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand messaging and SEO best practices.Ensure that all brand-specific posts and ads are compliant with guidelines, ad copy, and design specifications.LEAD MANAGEMENT:Utilize existing CRM technology to create efficiencies, help develop workflows that assist in growth and improve customer experiences.Support the sales team in generating leads, nurturing prospects, and closing deals.RequirementsDeep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategyAbility to work with creative tools like AdobeAbility to turn a concept into compelling contentAbility to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital contentExtensive knowledge of the popular social media platformsAbility to speak clearly and communicate effectively with customersBachelor's degree in marketing, business, or relevant four-year degreeExperience:Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industryStrong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and tools (e.g. Shopify)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and designExperience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms-Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTubeFamiliarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite) for scheduling and analyzing social media postsAbility to analyze data using analytics tools to track performance metrics and make data-driven decisionsExperience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques to improve website usability and increase sales
