Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing, Endoscopy Systems & Portfolio Solutions will lead the downstream marketing management activities and team responsible for Ambu's Endoscopy Displays and Peripherals franchise, along with cross-portfolio Marketing Programs support. The candidate will be responsible for building, organizing, and managing the cross-functional team, strategies, and execution required to ensure effective customer-centric marketing strategies associated with product launches, market adoption/share, revenue growth, and profitability in the displays business line. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for cross-portfolio marketing and commercial support in key areas of sustainability, infection prevention, and service programs. This position is well suited for a highly organized, commercially driven leader with team building/developing skills applied with strategic-thinking and analytical approaches in marketing management and execution.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Lead US market marketing efforts in Displays and Peripherals, along with other cross-franchise portfolio elements, including sustainability, infection prevention, and service programsBuild, organize, develop, and manage the marketing management team for Ambu USA Displays and Peripherals Franchise, and cross-portfolio marketing programs through close collaboration with medical segment (e.g. Urology, Pulmonology) commercial leaders in marketing and salesOversee the development and execution of marketing management activities; product launches, segment budgets, and annual strategic marketing plans in franchise areas and contribute as needed to the day-to-day performance - including brand awareness and equity in North AmericaEstablish customer-centric field-based collaboration between Sales, Field Engineering, Corporate Accounts, and Finance for the development of new Displays marketing programs and launchesContinuously monitor and report on portfolio and team performance - including financial performance, key objective achievements, competitive landscape, and KPIs - and provide monthly/quarterly business reviews and insights to the Vice President of MarketingLead key cross-functional projects in building best practices in the product marketing management teamSummarize, qualify, synthesize, and review the marketing management tasks - such as ensuring business intelligence, product positioning/pricing, ongoing trends, promotional campaigns, sales support and tools, market opportunities, and business case/planning are managed, reported, and continuously improving by the marketing management teamOversee the market communication plan and goals for product areasOversee Ambu's brand and ensure Ambu brand consistency in programs and Marketing communications, including trade shows and digitalEnsure highly collaborative KOL/consultant relationships and advisory boards are utilized productively and to the growth of the business lineProvide leadership/communication on business line and product performance inputs to Global Teams on North American market needs, requirements, and long term planning aspectsLead team in sales support tools targeting all key stakeholders for the product areaCollaborate with sales management and other department management to ensure Marketing strategies and programs are effective and are communicated as neededOversee collaboration across geographies and cross-functional teams to build internal support, report on business progress, and accomplish business goals and objectivesUp to 40% travel related to customer fieldwork, tradeshows/courses, corporate accounts meetings, and sales/marketing eventsConduct business and maintain relationships according to Ambu's standards and valuesAdditional ad hoc duties, as neededQualifications /Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, MBA a plusMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in Healthcare Marketing, preferably in Medical DevicesExperience in Endoscopy Systems, Imaging/Displays, OR Technologies, EMR/EHR/PACS a plusExcellent written, verbal and presentation communication skillsAbility to effectively build relationships and interface globally with cross functional partnersStrong project and program management skillsLeader of People - develops team members, utilizes team members to the best of their ability and creates a positive team environmentAbility to influence key stakeholders and partners at all levels of the organization.Effectively build and maintain relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels and with the executive team - essential to this cross-functional heavy roleExperience with design, evaluation, validation of marketing strategies and programsConsistently and effectively brings ideas, proposals and business cases forward for considerationExpertise with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and ExcelExperience with new product development and launchesStrong organizational and time management skillsBudget management experienceStrong ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems for business strategyExperience supporting a direct sales force
