Job Description SummaryThe Data Analyst position is responsible to provide analytical support to Design integration competencies through the creation and maintenance of various BI reports, analysis, PowerPoint presentations, data models, data quality checks and scripting.Job Description

Job Responsibilities:Assist product owners of Design Catalog and Design Technology with user behavior, user activity, document usage and from all systems to proactively improve user experience, detect anomalies or check for data qualityMonitor and report on the usage and effectiveness of the Design Catalog, suggesting improvements as neededUnderstand the business and information needs of business owners and translate those needs into BI/analytics/reporting requirements and make better data informed decisionsSupport the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, data mining, analyses, dashboards, PowerPoint presentations etc. that drive meaningful, timely, and actionable insights and can be easily interpreted by usersMaintain appropriate documentation around BI solutions and systems - including assumptions, complex calculations, process and data flow diagrams, and other relevant informationResearch, study, and analyze system or process related issues/incidents as escalated and provide appropriate resolution(s)Recommend process improvement opportunities - document current state process and create future state process documentationCollaborate with other data teams to exchange information, understand data context of tables, suggest attribute optimization, influence data entry quality, and build data models to expand and grow in an organized mannerMaintains and support databases, including inputting and correcting data, determining formats, researching data conversions, establishing data specifications, configuration/integration, updating sources and ensuring data integrityCollaborate with external vendors that administrate systems or develop software to integrate to their data storage and leverage it for analytical purposesTeach business users how to interact with the visualizations and interpret the results, and develop reference materialsDevelop and implement training programs and communication plans to improve user adoption and effectiveness of new and existing featuresRequirements:

5-8 years of experience in design data analyticsProven experience in business and data analyticsStrong working knowledge of software and tools including, but not limited to, SharePoint, PowerBi, Python, and SQL, Jupyter notebooks, common data analysis libraries and data wrangling toolsPowerBI, SQL and Python experience requiredComprehension of enterprise applications such as SharePoint, BIM 360, MatterPort, Data Lake, Redshift, RD Datamart, Unifi/Content catalog, PlanGrid and othersExperience in design tools such as Revit and AutoCADUnderstanding of business processes such as user onboarding, domestic document uploading, Design project setup, Prototype template releasingAbility to find solutions to business problems from data-driven insightsStrong working knowledge of data management best practices and experience implementing and maintaining themAbility to read and write data via API requests, OBDC connectors and other common methodsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and to draw valid conclusionsSolid business judgment, collaboration, and critical thinking skillsMust be able to be able to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical usersStrong interpersonal skillsGood communication and customer service skills are requiredCurious nature, intuitiveness, challenge the status quoTravel; 1-2 trips per year

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $76,500.00 - $90,000.00
