This position provides and leads front line customer service in a timely, accurate, and effective manner to PFW students, faculty, and staff, and residents of Indiana. Provide front line customer service at the Library Service Desk and provide circulation assistance.Oversee ingoing and outgoing materials.Lead and coordinate Library opening and closing procedures.Supervise and train student employees.Apply, uphold, and communicate policy to patrons and handle patron complaints and concerns.Perform special library projects and support.This position requires evening supervision when working closing shifts.This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

A High School Diploma or GED.3 years of providing advanced customer service.A high level of interpersonal and organizational skills.Proficiency in computer applications and equipment.

[Preferences:]{helvetica",sans-serif"=""}

Experience working in an academic library, or, employment in an academic setting.Familiarity with and knowledge of library databases.Experience with library management systems (ILLiad, OCLC, Ex Libriss Alma and Primo).
