Director, Marketing & Digital Communications

Basic Purpose

To support Member Loyalty Group in providing superior member engagement programs and a world-

class client experience to the credit union industry. The Marketing Director has the responsibility for

the organizations marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated

marketing strategy for the business

Responsibilities:

Enhance and manage MLG Brand, brand assets and messagingDevelop and manage strategic marketing plan & calendarPlan, budget, direct and implement marketing effortsOversee implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digitalmarketing, and PR.Oversee social media strategy and content marketingManage ongoing customer & marketing communicationsHire, coordinate with and manage design partnersCraft regular internal status reports of all marketing & communication activitiesClient engagementDevelop client communications including message development and placement, clientnews pieces, best practice sharing, thought-leadership information etc.Coordinate with Program Manger to develop a comprehensive participant engagementstrategy and tactical planBusiness Development & Industry EngagementActively work with the CEO and Senior Staff to develop and implement a comprehensiveindustry engagement plan focused primarily on MLGs target groupCoordinate industry communications including message development and placement,MLG blog, MLG website, thought-leadership articles etc.Create personas and lead nurturing communications to leverage Hubspot and toenhance ongoing communications with potential credit union participants who comeinbound from the website.Create and manage PR to ensure that MLG is recognized in the CU industry.Community ManagementSet and accomplishes organizational goals regarding community participation and successmeasures.Development of community content.Cultivate best practices for all credit unions using Voice of the Member programs.Event ManagementOversee planning and execution of logistics for conferences, meetings, and other events,Requirements

BS/MS degree in marketing or a related fieldProven working experience in marketing and digital marketingDemonstrable experience leading marketing and advertising programsHighly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage,inform and motivateStrong copywriting skillsEffective time management skillsExperience in optimizing landing pages and user funnelsProfessional and proactive work ethicSolid knowledge of website analytics toolsStrong analytical skills and data-driven thinkingUp-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
