Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Food and Beverage Solutions, the Sr. Market Insights Manager will lead the insights agenda for North America – partnering with regional stakeholders to land consumer and marketing insights projects aligned to our Food & Beverage Solutions priorities.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the customer-centric culture at ofi. Reporting to the Regional Head of NA Marketing for Food & Beverage Solutions, your responsibilities will include:

Insights Leadership : You’ll shape the understanding of ofi’s customers, competitors, consumers, and partners by delving into their behaviors, attitudes, and motivations.Strategic Execution : You’ll support strategic initiatives by using syndicated data and insights and translating it into actionable insights for internal strategy and customer-facing assets.Synthesizing Insights : Your role involves creating a compelling story thereby influencing our marketing campaigns, products we focus on and customers to target.Transform Data into Content : You’ll transform marketplace insights into meaningful language that can be used with various business partners and customers, as well as lead and disseminate regular Insights update.Collaboration and Creativity : This is an exciting role partnering with marketing, sales, innovation, sustainability, and operations teams and be part of our journey to co-create insight-led consumer solutions for our customers.Attention to Detail : Handling multiple demands while maintaining attention to detail is critical for success in this position.Position Responsibilities

Utilize broad industry knowledge to develop the underlying foundation for North America. Develop and provide the vision for and directing the processes to connect intelligence on all aspects of the customer. Link customer information insights to top management, relevant business, and support groups to develop action plans.Advise and provide actionable recommendations to executive management on strategic and customer insights related to developing a customer focused organization.Develop and implement insight framework for internal cross-functional teams and serve as liaison to business partner groups. Develop and implement strategic processes which connects business units with the goal to build companywide insights.Develop and build the formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues. Leverage existing resources and create new innovative concepts in insights across the company while ensuring process and structural fit with marketing and other areas of the company. Establish the underlying toolkit essential for building the infrastructure.Deliver and present trend and insights presentations to both internal and external audiences.Direct the development of OFI’s syndicated data provider relationships and manage any consultants.Manage approvals for syndicated research contracts and approve the syndicated vendors that are used.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements

Bachelors’ degree is required; Major’s in Business Administration, Statistics, Marketing or related field is strongly preferred.Five to Six (5 - 6) years of relevant experience in food ingredients, retail, consumer products goods, and/or nutrition market research is required.High level of proficiency in quantitative analysis is required; Must be able to analyze large data sets and uncover quantifiable insights.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word is required.Knowledge of analytical tools such as Circana, Innova, Dataessentials is preferred.Experience working with syndicated shopper data (Nielsen, IRI) is required.Project Management experience is strongly preferred. Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required along with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels will help ensure success in this role.Proven ability to synthesize detailed and complex information to develop strategies is required.Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in fast-paced environment and efficiently manage projects to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of quality is required.Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal are required.Proven success gaining cross-functional alignment with an ability to influence to gain project/program support is required.Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills are required.Desire and ability to travel is required.
