Overview

Apply your full stack development and design experience to help build new and dynamic apps to support a growing collection of documentation. Our fast-paced team designs, builds, and maintains a modern and effective web experience that provides users of ArcGIS the answers they need, when they need them. Our mission is to deliver great online and offline content centered on our cutting-edge software products and their users. Work with a highly collaborative team while having a high degree in autonomy as you work with content development and product engineering leads who are transforming software knowledge into engaging and useful documentation for internal and external users.

Responsibilities

Architect and build robust, performant, and flexible systems for managing and delivering content to users in a useful and visually appealing way

Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences in a collaborative environment

Utilize full stack development understanding to design, build, test, and validate enhancements to websites

Write clean, well-documented, high-quality code that meets accepted standards, ensures optimal performance, and achieves business requirements

Implement methods that monitor the health, performance, and usability of systems, tools, and sites as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing tools and systems Collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues who have varying levels of expertise Stay current with complementary programming languages, development methodologies, user interface design techniques, and database tools

Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study

One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained

Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: Full Stack Development; JavaScript; CSS; HTML; React; Node; Angular; Python; and XML

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $87,000—$105,000 USD
