Job Title: Senior UX Designer - Contractor

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: San Carlos, CA (Hybrid)

About The Team:

The UX Design team is dedicated to crafting safe, intuitive, and delightful experiences across both hardware and software platforms. We collaborate closely with product, clinical engineering, software and hardware engineering, and regulatory teams to shape the future of our products and enhance existing ones. Our daily activities include field research, user interviews, design exploration, and implementation through testing phases.

A Day In The Life Of Our Senior UX Designer (Contractor):

  • Transform complex technical and functional information into efficient workflows and screen layouts.
  • Lead the end-to-end UX design process for new projects, with support from the UX Manager.
  • Collaborate with clinical engineers to integrate screen-based touch points into workflows.
  • Apply UX design principles to wireframe creation in Figma and develop click-through prototypes for evaluation.
  • Partner with software development teams to refine prototypes based on user feedback.
  • Assist in moderating user evaluations and advocate for user needs.
  • Contribute to UI requirements and documentation.

About You:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Healthcare related industries.
  • Available for at least 6 months with potential for extension.
  • Proficient in translating complex information into user-friendly UIs.
  • Experience designing for various touchpoints, including tablets and desktop-sized displays.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and tackling complex products beyond touch screen UI.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
