Responsibilities

Marketing Data Analyst I

Assists from start to finish on the life cycle of a campaign set up and reporting for all lines of business including set up of campaign web and phone tracking, assisting to build segmentation, audience selection, testing strategies, execution, and results reporting. Produces analysis to drive marketing decisions. Participates in maintaining vendor relationships.

· Produces ad hoc reporting and analysis.

· Assists in marketing analytic and reporting processes including gathering data, managing data sources, standardizing data, and creating analysis.

· Assists in data synthesis and hygiene for segmentation and other modeling.

· Conducts competitive intelligence research and shares periodic reporting with internal stakeholders.

· Assists in producing/updating forecasting activity across marketing channels.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Marketing Data Analyst II

Produces analysis to drive marketing decisions. Participates in maintaining vendor relationships.

· Produces ad hoc reporting analysis and assists on developing reporting processes.

· Develops and executes repeatable processes to gauge campaign success and affect marketing decisions.

· Assists in the development of segmentation, modeling, targeting, and testing capabilities.

· Conducts competitive intelligence research and shares periodic reporting with internal stakeholders.

· Prepares monthly reporting and coordinates forecasting activity across marketing channels.

· Presents project and campaign results, including discussions of key results and metrics, to appropriate audiences.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Marketing Data Analyst III

Analyst owns from elements of campaign set up and reporting for all lines of business including set up of campaign web and phone tracking and results reporting. Assists to build segmentation, audience selection, testing strategies, execution of campaigns. Produces analysis to drive marketing decisions. Actively participates in maintaining vendor relationships.

· Conducts marketing analysis and develops reporting processes.

· Focuses on developing and executing repeatable processes to gauge campaign success and affect marketing decisions.

· Handles ad hoc campaign execution and reporting.

· Prepares monthly reporting and coordinates forecasting activity across marketing channels.

· Assists in the development of segmentation, modeling, targeting, and testing capabilities.

· Owns responsibility for operation and configuration of web analytics tools in support of campaign tracking and execution; interfaces with IT as needed to maintain and improve tool capabilities.

· Presents project and campaign results, including discussions of key results and metrics, to appropriate audiences.

· Conducts competitive intelligence research and shares reporting with internal stakeholders.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Senior Marketing Data Analyst

Owns campaign set up process and reporting from start to finish for all lines of business including set up of campaign web and phone tracking, assisting to build segmentation, audience selection, testing strategies, execution, and results reporting. Provides analysis to drive marketing decisions. Owns vendor relationships and actively works to supply vendors with needed information and works to further partnerships. Analyzes campaign results to provide recommendations with positive ROI implications.

· Manages analytic and reporting processes including forecasting and reporting, designs testing plans, and ROI analysis.

· Develops and presents campaign results that are technically sound, actionable, and consumable across the organization.

· Develops segmentation, modeling, targeting, and testing capabilities.

· Provides analytical support for initiatives within other departments.

· Presents project and campaign results, including discussions of key results and metrics, to appropriate audiences, including senior management.

· Orients, trains, and assists more junior level staff.

· Actively conducts competitive intelligence research and incorporates learnings into reporting and campaigns and shares findings with key stakeholders.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Marketing Data Analyst I

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, statistics, or related field.

· 0 to 1 year marketing analytics experience/project work.

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (including Access) skills.

· Basic SAS, SQL, or other analytical tools skills.

· Basic Tableau skills.

Marketing Data Analyst II

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, statistics, or related field.

· 2 years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or equivalent relevant experience in marketing statistical analysis.

· Basic knowledge of decision trees, data mining, time series analysis, and marketing mix modeling.

· Basic understanding of marketing campaigns and tracking.

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (including Access) skills.

· Intermediate database reporting skills.

· Intermediate SAS, SQL, or other analytical tools skills.

· Intermediate Tableau skills.

Marketing Data Analyst III

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, statistics, or related field.

· 3 years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or equivalent relevant experience in marketing statistical analysis.

· Knowledge of decision trees, data mining, time series analysis, and marketing mix modeling.

· Understanding of marketing campaigns and tracking.

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

· Advanced database reporting skills.

· Advanced SAS, SQL, or other analytical tools skills.

· Basic model development skills.

· Advanced Tableau skills.

Senior Marketing Data Analyst

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, statistics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

· 5 years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or equivalent experience with marketing statistical analysis, data mining, segmentation, and modeling.

· Certification in SAS, SPSS, R, or equivalent statistical analysis tools preferred.

· Certification in Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools preferred.

· Extensive knowledge of linear and non-linear regression, factor analysis, decision trees, data mining, time series analysis, and marketing mix modeling and the ability to apply advanced concepts.

· Extensive knowledge of marketing campaigns and tracking.

· Advanced database reporting skills.

· Advanced SAS, SQL, or equivalent statistical analysis tools; familiarity with large, complex relational databases.

· Advanced data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) skills.

· Advanced model development skills.
