Responsibilities

Expedite food orders and watch ticket times to ensure timely service to our guests

Supervise food prep work while maintaining company food quality, presentation and sanitation standards

Verify that all portion sizes, recipes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures are maintained by kitchen associates

Supervise the Kitchen Runners to ensure effective service

Aid with ensuring all kitchen equipment is in full working order, and report any maintenance issues to department manager

Coordinate with the department chef about any game-day needs

Always maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and coolers

Perform opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines

Perform other duties assigned

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old

At least 1 year experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook or Kitchen Supervisor preferred

Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards

Ability to multi-task in many different areas and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment

Attentive and detailed oriented

Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions

Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity

Physical Requirements

Able to push and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

Able to work long periods of time which involve standing, bending, stretching, reaching and pushing a heavy cart as the work duties demand

Variable temperatures – required to move between hot, noisy conditions of kitchen and climate-controlled dining environment
