to join the corporate IT team at our Cummings Research Park Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. U.S. citizenship and active secret clearance or the ability to get a secret clearance is required.
Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Job Description:
The Web Developer reports to the IT Manager and actively participates on integrated teams that support assigned projects on Federal contracts. The developer creates web applications in a Windows server environment and contributes to the software development life cycle: including architecture, design, coding, testing, documentation, configuration control, and maintenance. Develops and maintains web applications and associated databases in accordance with best business practices. Designs, develops, and maintains the organization's Intranet and Internet to include installation, configuration, support, and ongoing maintenance to ensure web services and programs function securely and efficiently. Plans and delivers software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
Responsibilities:Leads, develops, creates, documents, tests, and modifies applications software and specialized utility programs.Designs, develops, and maintains the organization's Intranet and Internet to include installations, configurations, supports, and maintenance to ensure web services and programs function securely and efficiently.Analyzes and documents user requirements and develops software solutions that are responsive to the requirements. Conducts analysis and management of requirements.Works with business stakeholders and executive management to apply expertise to technical issues and problems.Applies CMMI security principles, methodologies, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes in order to meet or exceed customer expectations, and, completes projects within targeted time scheduled milestones and cost estimates.Designs software or customize software for customer use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.Provides SharePoint support for business sectors within the corporate organization.Performs site administration including permissions management, configuring web pages, configuring web parts, lists, views, libraries, office client integration, content management, and file data management.Develops workflow creation, maintenance, navigation, taxonomy, and search improvements.Uses and integrates third party tools.Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science degree or other computer related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.
5 years or more of experience with SQL, Active Directory, SharePoint, and SQL Server.3 years or more of experience with C#, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and XML.Experience with Entity Framework, IIS 6-8.5 is preferred.3 years or more of experience operating within a federally funded corporation.
