The Graphic Designer is responsible for building digital brand awareness for both brick-and-mortar and e-Commerce platforms by:
Creating, executing, and supporting the look and feel of our digital media across all devices.Collaborating with various departments to create design solutions for email, web, and mobileWorking closely with web developers to ensure all designs function within the technical requirementsUpdating website content, utilizing optimization tools such as SEO, alt tags, and content, and producing attractive visual art that appeals to Acme Tools’ customersCreating and presenting multiple creative solutions that show thoughtful approaches to strategy and marketing objectives.Reinforcing the brand look and feel across different platforms and channelsMaintaining design documentation, style guides, and specificationsRolling with the punches with whatever other design task comes your wayNeed-To-Haves:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Design or related field or equivalent working experienceKnowledge and experience designing across multiple media and platformsUnderstanding of branding, style guidelines and following style restrictionsClean design senseExceptional attention to detailAbility to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiativeExcellent communication, planning, time management, and follow-through skillsNatural visual thinker ready to grow and take direction from creative leadershipLove-To-Haves:
2 + years of experience in modern web design such as responsive design, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScriptOutstanding creative portfolio demonstrating conceptual and design skills with an eye for typography, composition, layout, color, and pixel-level attention to detailAbility to select or modify existing photography or stock images that enhance design and brandPrevious experience designing for an e-commerce website; including email, social media, and display advertising marketing.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
