Job purpose

Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the various areas of marketing, including direct mail, advertising, entertainment, promotions, special events, and player development.

Duties and responsibilitiesExhibit conduct in accordance with all Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Rules and Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Company and departmental policies and procedures.Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.Coordinates Direct Mail Campaigns

Proof matrices, coupon copy, and verifications of coupon, files, and data.Implement offers in Super Playmate, and Marketing Manager.Verify offer implementation is correctCompletes all direct mail campaign tasks as assigned

Coordinates Advertising

Proof ad copy and designsRepresents GND as the advertising representativeCompletes all advertising tasks as assigned

Coordinates Entertainment

Setup and coordinate entertainment eventsRepresents GND as the entertainment representativeCompletes all entertainment tasks as assigned

Coordinate Promotions

Setup and coordinate promotion eventsRepresents GND as the promotions representativeCompletes all promotions tasks as assigned

Coordinate Special Events

Setup, advance and run special eventsTravel and/or attend off property eventsRepresents GND as the special event representativeCompletes all special event tasks as assigned

Player Development

Represents GND as a marketing representativeAssists with Player Development and relationship building of customer base.

Gain and maintain a working knowledge of casino systems as related to gaming, player tracking, and promotions.Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department, and company records.Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with a preferred major in marketing, advertising, communications, or digital media.Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience with marketing in a casino environment preferred.Ability to obtain a gaming license.Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal communication skills are required.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals.Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as accounting systems.Ability to work overtime and irregular hours and occasionally travel.
