Design Coordinator
Status:
Full-Time-Hourly/Non-Exempt
Location : Moore, Oklahoma
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
General Purpose:
To coordinate colors, materials, and finishes for custom and spec homes.
Supervision Received:
Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Architecture.
Supervision Exercised:
NONE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet and greet customersResponsible for working directly with customers, coordinating color meetingsResponsible for keeping front area cleanSigns for deliveries when necessary and notifies recipientsAttend all staff meetingsRevising and editing color selectionsCreate color sheets for custom and spec homesAssist in answering incoming calls (multi-line)Design projects and template materialsPresent recommendations to Architecture ManagerCollaborate and communicate with suppliers and vendorsEstablish, maintain, and update materials needed for color meetingsObtains supplies for the departmentPlans, prioritizes, and organizes a diversified workloadOccasionally types general correspondence and memosAssist in other duties as directedOccasional field visitsRequirements
Job Requirements for Design Coordinator
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and six months to one year of work-related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
Knowledge of color coordinationKnowledge of general office practicesGood attendance and punctuality is mandatoryKnowledge of a variety of computer applicationsAbility to establish priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to interact with variety of personalitiesAbility to navigate various design software programsAttention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materialsStrong organizational skillsWillingness to be a member of a dedicated teamWork Environment:
Office environment. The noise level is moderately quiet.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry equipment up to 30 lbs. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
