Job DetailsSenior level designer responsible for performing design activities of assigned projects as outlined in project definitions with additional individual project responsibilities as assigned.Performs design functions independently with minimal supervisory oversight on projects requiring specialized training and experience.Perform as lead designer which requires the ability to plan and schedule work, direct the work of junior designers.Produce design details of equipment, facilities, and structures in accordance with standards. Knowledge of and ability to apply industry standards to designs is required.Guide, direct, and consult with A/E firms, vendors, and construction contractors as required to fulfill assignments.Determine materials and equipment specifications and take offs for structures, processing and utility equipment.Provide technical design direction to engineers, and designers. Identify and work with others to resolve technical design issues.Responsible for individual assignments on large project teams. Assume direct engineering responsibility for specific projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 Year College Certificate in2 Year College Certificate in Design, or, equivalent experience - 4 Years CADD design Design, or, equivalent experience - 4 Years CADD design10+ years relevant experienceExperience as a CADD Designer with MicroStation (or AutoCAD). SolidWorks is a plusPiping design preferredU.S Citizenship required
