1. Office-based position (not field materials management)2. Track major equipment delivery dates by reviewing Client Supply Chain documentation, reports, and developing regular communication channels with Vendorsa. Track delivery dates and communicate readiness to project manager, site team, and client stakeholders3. Track minor material ordersa. Primary vendors: IRBY/Pepco (substation minor material packager) and Power Line Supply (transmission line material packager)b. Review BOMs and compare to Purchase Orders to verify accuracy of item description and quantitiesc. Verify status of quotes and orders4. Produce reports to assist Project Managers in material readiness meetings.a. Reports will show purchase order status, lead times, vendor production schedules, vendor updates, delivery dates, and any issues with production or delivery dates.5. Help identify possible workarounds to maintain schedule to Client's Materials Management group and Project Teams.6. Be knowledgeable of Transmission Line, Substation, and Communications material and equipment7. Occasionally visit vendor facilities to verify production readiness8. Qualifications:a. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business administration, engineering or related discipline and minimum 4 years' related work experience is requiredb. Related work experience includes supply chain, material tracking, or procurement of T&D material.c. Successful track record in a procurement organizationd. Excellent organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft excel.e. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.f. Possess a sense of urgency around accomplishing goals.Types of Substation equipment purchases:• Typical Voltages are 34.5kV, 69kV, 138kV, 230kV, 345kV, 500kV• Circuit breakers• Package Control Enclosures• Power Transformers (Above 30 MVA)• Disconnect switches• Voltage Regulators; Switchgear• Control Devices, DFR Cabinets, SCADA/HMI/RTAC• Batteries, Chargers, Battery Cabinets, Monitoring Systems• Instrument transformers such as: CCVTs, Current Transformers, Breaker CTs, Slip Over CTs, Potential/Voltage Transformers, Station Service Voltage Transformers, Linear Couplers• Capacitor Bank,; Cap Switchers, Circuit Switchers• Minor material such as: DMC connectors, test switches, relays, control cable, substation hardwareTypes of Transmission Line Material Purchases:• Poles (primarily wood, steel monopoles, or "wood pole equivalent" direct-embed steel poles• t-line hardware such as insulators, conductor and shieldwire clamps, line switches, motor operators, compression terminals, dampers,• guy anchors, structure braces• aluminum Conductor, OPGW, shield wire•• 4 project offices: Akron-OH, Greensburg-PA, Reading-PA, and Morristown-NJ.• PMO consists of PM's, Construction site coordinators, Testing & Commissioning, scheduling & cost analysts, project development, support services (Real Estate & Environmental Permitting), and computer applications.• 300+ CLIENT design engineers across the country are working on projects for same Client• Important longstanding client, plan to continue work for years to come.• Working alongside Client (in their office) as combined team and with other consultants.

Requirements:Qualifications:Transmission Line & Substation experience requiredBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business administration, engineering or related discipline and minimum 4 years' related work experience is requiredRelated work experience includes supply chain, material tracking, or procurementSuccessful track record in a procurement organizationExcellent organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft excel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Possess a sense of urgency around accomplishing goals.- Bachelor Degree in Business, Construction management or related field. and 3 years direct experience in project procurement expediting. Required or - Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Required - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office. - Basic knowledge of Primavera scheduling reports and the use of material/submittal tracking software is preferred. - Ability to multi-task to support multiple projects simultaneously. - Must be team oriented with the ability to work with limited supervision.
