We offer access to the world's finest online art and design education, which includes interactive learning experiences for elementary, middle school, and pre-college students, recreational learners, and senior executives. We utilize the latest user interfaces and online platforms to connect students to remote and physical spaces, and to faculty from the world's top art and design schools.
We are currently looking for a PT Graphic & Web Designer to join us and partner in delivering the best art and design education to students from around the world. As PT Graphic & Web Designer you will develop, manage and create the visual assets that represent the programs and are used for promotional aspects. This role acts as a dual role as you will also be incharge of developing and designing the website to make sure the programs and pages represent the correct information, graphics and user experience. You will have a multidisciplinary role working across a number of areas with the team from graphics, platform research and web developments. You will collaborate with the Academic Experience Director, Media/Marketing Manager to produce and edit a variety of assets to promote or represent the various programs at WeDesign. You will work on creating a better user experience and work on the platform where new content can be shared and accessed. This role requires strong interpersonal skills due to frequent one-on-one collaboration with the team.
Main Responsibilities:
Graphic designDeveloping the graphic assets and promotional materials to represent and present each programCollaborate with the team to develop promotional material that will help our customers better connect with our products and servicesSupport and create programs and partnership presentations to represent the companies offeringAssist in translation of course content for graphic purpose and asset developmentWebsite Development
Redesign the content/ presentation (graphic) of the company website to represent the existing programsImprove the website user experience in both the US and CNThink strategically about page design and program presentationExecute all visual design stages and implementation using a premade platform (WIX)Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas for the WebsiteResearch web platforms to compare and develop further developmentsGeneral
Work closely with team to execute graphic/marketing and web projects from initial contact through final deliverableTake part in planning to ensure efficient and high-quality work delivered on deadlineManage multiple projects and deadlines under direct supervision and independentlyProvide feedback and contribute to improving program experienceCompetencies
Graphic design experience in a brand or agency setting preferably EducationProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc..)Excellent typography and layout skillsFamiliarity with design systems, style guides and pattern librariesExperience crafting simple and compelling graphic presentations and assetsUnderstanding of creative, design and marketing processes to develop program assetsKnowledge of all the Adobe CC suiteExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.Storytelling skills and an understanding of the creative processAttention to detail and a high level of professionalism/work ethicMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience1-3 years' experience in either User experience, Wed design or Graphic designProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator)Knowledge of graphic design principles, web development and how to develop a strong presence and user experienceWell organized and willing to adapt to new project management workflowsOpen to learning, dedicated to improving, committed to excellenceExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline drivenAbility to work under deadline pressureThe ability to work unsupervisedAbility to work well in a fast paced team environment and take feedbackPreferred but not required
