Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist who will perform a wide variety of marketing efforts for digital/online/mobile and other marketing efforts including project management to support The Redwood Group's strategic initiatives. Working with the Marketing leadership, acts as primary digital marketer and email administrator for Redwood Credit Union (RCU) and its subsidiaries.

Responsible for the execution of a wide variety of marketing and communication efforts such as supporting the Redwood Group's email platform and initiatives, online and mobile marketing efforts, website graphics and marketing content, marketing campaigns, advertising, support of social media efforts, newsletters, for The Redwood Group.

Essential Functions

Online Marketing

• Manages assigned marketing related website updates including but not limited to the homepage, marketing landing pages, online banking promotions, press releases and the Redwood Credit Union blog.

• Manages and drives the email marketing program for Redwood Credit Union including creation, testing and analysis of all emails, vendor management and best practices.

• Acts as primary email administrator for RCU and its subsidiaries, including ensuring quality email execution using data and email or marketing automation tools and systems. Role includes coding and quality assurance, reporting and monitoring,

• Acts as a key driver of the digital brand presence for Redwood Credit Union including internal and external emails, digital marketing and communications, alerts, website,

• Act as Search Engine Marketing (SEM) internal subject matter expert, optimizing investments on an ongoing basis and launching new campaigns to support seasonal and ad-hoc promotions. May collaborate and co-manage agency partners in SEM over time.

• Support the Marketing and Communications & PR Departments in the comprehension and application of digital analytics and metrics to drive success in their marketing programs.

• Support the Digital Experience Department in execution of digital efforts including the facilitation of graphical needs and testing user experience for improvements.

• Analyzes findings of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist in the Digital Experience Department and implements changes to benefit the Redwood Group's marketing and communications efforts.

• Identifies and tests new marketing opportunities to drive user engagement as it relates to lead generation, customer acquisition and conversion. Familiarity in A/B multivariant testing.

Department Support

• Acts as a primary project manager and coordinator for promotions and projects. In this role, is responsible for developing and communicating marketing program description plans and executing projects.

• Acts as a key player in maintaining the integrity of the Redwood Group's brands, ensuring effective and consistent use of the names, logos, and other representations of the organizations both internally and externally.

• Identifies key target marketing techniques and works closely with the department staff to ensure effective use of data, enhanced decision making and target marketing.

• Ensures the protection of Members' confidential data.

• Performs quality control of materials, including proofreading and assists with quality control and proofreading tasks and other marketing support as requested.

Non-Essential Functions

• Assists with RCU efforts related to community/non-profit groups, including marketing, communication, and event support.

• Takes active role in community events and contributes to local area non-profits via volunteerism, expert knowledge sharing, and serves as an ambassador in the community on behalf of RCU.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS required.Strong knowledge of UI/UX design and digital banking practices.Extensive knowledge of digital marketing programs and optimizing based on copy, creative, and placement.Expert knowledge of email and marketing automation platforms. Ability to use and harness these system's capabilities for execution of RCU's email marketing program.Extensive experience with Enterprise-level CRM systems / marketing automation journeys (examples: Salesforce/Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Pardot) and the ability to document, set up and implement a platform from start to finish.Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), with substantial experience required. WordPress experience a plus.Ability to manipulate web graphics and resizing of images for digital content as required.Strong knowledge and abilities with data files and management, including ability to upload, segment, manipulate and ensure data integrity and quality in use with email, digital and other marketing programs.Exceptional project management skills, with demonstrated ability to consistently achieve deadlines on time and in a quality manner.Demonstrated knowledge, experience and skills in online marketing and practices including website design and copy, mobile marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), outbound email and social media.Advanced Experience with Cost Per Click (CPC) and Cost Per Action (CPA) models/efforts.Strong analytical skills. Experience managing web analytics and campaign management tools such as Google Analytics required.Ability to work independently and proactively. Drives new and creative ways to move the business forward,Excellent written and verbal communication skills and marketing and communication skills including writing, copy writing, oral and presentation skills.Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF), Customer Relationship Management or database experience a plus.Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.Work environment is indoors, majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in related field required, and 5+ years of experience. Certifications for online and mobile marketing preferred. Bilingual/Spanish speaking abilities a plus.

Compensation:

Base starting range: $42.00 to $56.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
