The starting salary for this position is expected to be around $67,600. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

HOURS:

37.50 hours per week

SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5:00

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for The Summit’s digital marketing initiatives including email marketing, corporate website, paid and organic search. This position will also work both independently and with agency partners to implement, measure and improve The Summit’s digital marketing efforts. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also generate targeted lists, create tracking reports and evaluate campaign performance as well as digital marketing performance as a whole. Perform all responsibilities in a manner that serves The Summit’s Mission and upholds the credit union’s values.

Essential Responsibilities

Liaison to The Summit’s digital marketing agency; responsible for web, email, and paid search initiativesWork with the Marketing Manager and our digital marketing agency to create and implement a digital marketing plan that aligns with our overall marketing strategy and plan.Provide monthly and quarterly digital performance reports to Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing and Community EngagementServe as the Webmaster; continuously monitor and update the corporate website to ensure the accuracy of information.Execute website development, design, maintenance, and updates as needed and help develop new web-based marketing initiatives, such as lead generation forms and landing pages.Implement campaigns to increase member utilization of online services and generate online cross-sell opportunities. This may require partnership with others on the Marketing Team, Member Technology Solutions Department, website providers, as well as close contact with individuals on the Member Services and Operations TeamsHandle the delivery, list creation and segmentation, personalization, messaging, scheduling, and analytics for all email marketing communications.Implement and refine our email member engagement retention strategies to increase revenue, reduce attrition and increase member engagement.Generate and analyze A/B testing strategies to optimize emails for open rates, click through rates, engagement, and conversion.Ensure email campaigns exceed industry best practices in terms of deliverability, readability, conversion-focused design as well as internal brand standards.Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email communications.Share email and web insights with the Marketing TeamChampion continuous improvements of our email, web and other digital capabilitiesOversee paid search initiatives and The Summit’s blog. Develop and implement content strategy to support the credit union’s business goals in collaboration with other members of the social media team. Apply strong analytical skills to improve content and delivery by evaluating metrics such as open rates, click through rates, engagement, and other methods of assessing performance.Maintain accurate ATM and branch listings on The Summit’s website, as well as the credit union’s presence on other sites such as Google. Work with Marketing Operations Specialist to monitor and maintain rate information on the corporate website to ensure the accuracy of information.Other Responsibilities

Participate on and occasionally leads the internal social media / digital marketing team.Proofread marketing material to ensure that materials are accurate and meet regulatory and compliance guidelines.Work with Product Marketing Specialist to manage CRM systems, generate emails, and prepare post-campaign reports for marketing programs and promotions.Work in coordination with Risk Management to ensure that all position related agreements adhere to established guidelines and complete the Risk Management process as required for position related vendors.Develop an understanding of credit union products, services, and supporting business processes needed to effectively support the end user.Participate in events such as festivals, grand openings, annual meetings, branch events, etc. as required.Serve on cross-functional teams as assigned.Qualifications

Education & Experience

Applicants must possess the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and experience:

Education:

A four-year Bachelor’s degree or higher in a marketing/ business field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ prior digital marketing experience.

Experience:

Highly proficient with current version (v6.5) of Word Press and member (customer) databases and CRM systems such as Mail Chimp email softwarePrevious digital marketing and SEM/ SEO experiencePrevious experience working with Google Adwords, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), HubSpot and Site Improve is a plus.Previous experience with

Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables.

Experience with project management software such as Asana or BasecampComputer proficiency in Windows Operating Systems: Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Outlook

Adobe InDesign knowledge is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills
