[The Retail Advertising Specialist plays a critical role on the PFSbrands team and is fully dedicated to helping its c-store and supermarket retail partners develop successful hot food programs in their stores by assisting them in developing effective campaigns and marketing strategies that will maximize positive impact of marketing development funds (MDF) earmarked for their businesses. This includes developing scalable solutions that can be implemented regionally/nationally for all stores and by developing custom solutions for individual retailers. Success in this position requires a self-motivated, positive, and energetic team player who excels in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Proactively advise and support an assigned set of branded retailers and their Retail Growth Advisors in the field with advertising and promotional strategies, which are designed to grow the retailers hot food program sales and profitsManage and troubleshoot all orders on the company HUB and act as liaison for graphic designers and Print Shop staffProcess MDF orders, claims, and reimbursements for retailersTrack and manage retailers accumulation of MDF funds, their spending for approved ad and promotional efforts and net funds available to underwrite future effortsAnalyze retailers needs to determine the best advertising and promotional strategies to applyAssist retailers with advertising research, negotiations and ad buyingDevelop scalable and effective strategies that can be implanted across all retailersWork closely with the graphic designers and the companys full-service Print Shop to develop effective and creative marketing materialsImplement approved advertising and promotional plansAnalyze data/reports to determine the effectiveness of campaignsCompile case studies that can be used to demonstrate effective advertising efforts that have been successful for other retailersConduct research to analyze the latest marketing tools, technology, trends, competitors, brand perceptions, market penetration and customer needsField inquiries and questions by phone and email from retailers and Retail Growth AdvisorsDistribute the MDF Period Reports monthly to all retailersPerform other duties as assigned

2 or 4-year college degree OR equivalent work experience is preferred but not required

Sound understanding of the principles of advertising and promotion

Experience with digital technologies and how they can be used to grow business

Good project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

Ability to operate under pressure, work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines

Team player who works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded

Creative and innovative with highly developed interpersonal skills
