The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic business planning, including the understanding of target markets and the development of go-to-market strategies. This role requires a focus on crafting and optimizing strategic narratives, messaging, and positioning to support sales teams, successful product launches, and market communication. The VP will also be deeply involved in product expertise, sales, and customer success enablement, pricing and packaging optimization, analyst relations, content strategy, thought leadership, partner enablement, and managing the competitive landscape. Applicants for the Vice President of Product Marketing position at the company should be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and be creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and well-organized. A strong focus on teamwork, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, is essential. The ideal candidate should have over 15 years' of product marketing experience in B2B enterprise software, with a strong background in SaaS, and a proven track record of leading and building high-performing teams. The role requires a self-driven, high-energy leader with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, who can gather and analyze competitive intelligence to keep the customer-facing teams well-informed. The candidate should also be adept at strategic thinking, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at building and maintaining relationships, particularly with product and leadership teams.
