We are looking for a
Roadway Design Project Manager
with the opportunity to work on signature projects and mentor and lead junior design staff. HMB is part of a transportation family ranked #14 in the country with unlimited growth potential. We have national capabilities but maintain a local feel.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and mentorship of junior staff while managing the completion of multiple roadway design tasksCoordination with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirementsOpportunity to be mentored and ultimately take on responsibilities as a Project ManagerPreparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents.Preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to Agencies having jurisdiction.Coordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors and other parties associated with the project.Development and adherence to project scope, schedules, and budgets.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A minimum of 6 years experience in all technical aspects of roadway designExperience in people management or supervisionExperience with OpenRoads Designer preferredPE Certification is preferredDetail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skillsProficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and standard industry software.Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines.Strong oral presentation and written communication skillsBenefits
