Communications & Marketing Senior Associate

We are looking for a Communications & Marketing Senior Associate to help tell our story to the marketplace by developing our brand, articulating our unique value proposition, and showcasing our experts with key audiences, particularly among the corporate, policy, legal and financial communities. This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who has a couple years of experience and is looking to take the next step in their career with increased responsibility, license to be creative and a diverse portfolio.

LocationWashington, D.C.; New York; Brussels or London (hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office)

ResponsibilitiesSupport in the development and execution of DGA’s communications and marketing strategy.Assist in writing and reviewing various communications materials, including press releases, talking points, award nominations, website content and thought leadership – ensuring quality control, consistency of global brand messaging and ease of access.Develop written & visual content for DGA’s social media channels.Create reporting to evaluate the effectiveness and raise internal awareness of DGA’s communications & marketing efforts.Assist in creating and managing a database of marketing assets, collateral and credentials.Support media relations efforts with research and outreach.Support internal communications.Help plan and execute DGA-sponsored events.QualificationsEssential

Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant work experience in communications and/or marketing.Exceptional creative, writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt styles to suit a wide variety of purposes and target audiences.Comfortable in a highly collaborative, start-up environment with a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.Demonstrates a keen eye for detail.Strong project management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office and video conferencing applications.Preferred

Experience and familiarity with graphic design, including in PowerPoint, Canva and video applications.Prior experience with digital/social media and email management/distribution platform (e.g., MailChimp).Proficiency delivering firm-ready content, and experience following organizational style guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency in written materials.Experience within a professional services firm, campaign, law firm or corporation.Proven research skills, including experience using analytical and monitoring tools to derive insights.
