We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Grant Writer & Researcher to join our team.

The purpose of this position is to support the growth of Midland Care by securing funding through grants. Individual will identify, define and develop funding sources to support existing and planned activities of the organization. Individual will also coordinate the development, writing, research, submission, tracking and reporting of grants. This individual will function as a donor researcher for ability, propensity and gift solicitation.

Employment Status:

Full-Time|Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay range beginning

at $21/hr. - pay based on experience.

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or work in related discipline with a minimum of three years of related experience and proven track record in grant writing, research and record keeping. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in researching, interpreting, and analyzing data and possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to reach stated goals. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to meet and adhere to deadlines. Certificates from American Grant Writers Association or Grant Professionals Association a plus. Must be proficient in the use of Word and Excel. Must have analytical aptitude for quantifying data. Must have a valid driver's license and meet criteria to drive on behalf of Midland Care to funding sources. Knowledge of Raiser's Edge and/or Foundation Search desired.
