FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee team that writes, produces, and optimizes compelling, local and national news and event-based content relevant to local users and beyond, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming content, breaking news, and social media elements.Prioritize allocation of digital resources to cover the most important stories, based on data derived from real-time analytics and trends.Drive coverage of breaking news, capitalize on stories and topics of interest, and guide the digital team's editorial decisions.Serve as digital leader and resource in the newsroom to ensure station's digital and social media dominance.Pitch original story ideas and use your unique style, creativity, and originality to develop those ideas and to implement them on digital platforms.Analyze daily web and social metrics, and monitor long-term performance trends, identifying successes and opportunities for growth and improvement.Work closely with editorial, promotions/marketing and sales departments to assist with conceptualizing and producing high-profile creative material.Work with the Web Sales Manager to generate and maintain sponsored online content, work with corporate digital leads and other digital managers across the station group to manage all production/quality aspects of the station's web site.Follow group standards for digital publishing. Maintain continuous communication with other FTS digital teams and Group Content Team. Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience developing and publishing unique content, including news, for digital and social platforms preferred. Proven history as leader and/or project lead within a team. BA/BS degree a plus, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or related field with emphasis on digital publishing. Strong desire to advance in digital news career. Superior news judgement, writing and copy-editing skills. Fanatical attention to detail. Thrive under pressure. Stellar communication skills. SEO and social media expert. Proficient in content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools. Video and photo editing experience (Adobe products a plus).

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $115,000.00-127,308.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
