Non-Profit Grant Writer position
LHH has partnered with a Non-Profit who is searching for a talented Grant Writer to join their team! The Grant Writer will play a key role in securing funding for their organization's programs and initiatives and will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to various foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

Responsibilities:Write compelling grant proposals, grant reports, letters of inquiry, and other materials to secure funding
Research funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and programs
Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data needed for grant proposals
Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals
Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders and donors
Monitor and track grant expenditures and outcomes to ensure compliance with grant requirements
Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant writing and fundraising
Qualifications:
5+ years of applicable grant writing experience
Experience working for a non-profit highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-profit Management, or related field preferred
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail
Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Experience working in the non-profit sector preferred
Familiarity with grant databases and online grant submission platforms
Passion for our organization's mission and commitment to making a positive impact
Schedule:
Can work fully remote but must live in California
Can also work hybrid out of San Diego
Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
Salary
Direct Hire
$68,000-$72,000 yearly salary
