Summary : Responsible for the development and maintaining of 3D models & 2D drawings based the scope of delivery of turbomachinery equipment packages.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the development and compilation of mechanical, instrumentation, systems, and process drawingsDevelopment / configuration of smart 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for complete turbomachinery packagesDesign and specification of technical components, assemblies and systems using CAD software.Internal coordination with engineering disciplines & additional drafting resources globallyCoordination between customers and suppliers and other disciplinesUse of 2D and 3D modelling techniques to develop accurate and precise drawings.Incorporate design changes/modifications as necessary based on inputs from clients, customers, and internal disciplines.Ability to comply with various industry standards and regulations.Organization of complete design packages and the ability to evaluate the impact of design changes.Development/standardization of sub-assembly components for package design optimizationAbility to convert marked up drawings into design changes in 2D/3D formats.Responsible for the review of engineering drawings and design changes and ensure adherence to established internal standards.Achieve goals for the timely compilation of deliverables and drawings packages.Review and analyze blueprints, sketches, and other design documents.Other duties as assigned.Team-oriented, systematic and conscientious way of workingInterdepartmental thinking and actingAbility to work in a team, good analytical skills as well as systematic and methodical approach.Ability to interpret engineering team inputs and convert into usable documentation.Independent work and willingness to meet occasional deadlines.Required Education:
Associate degree in design, Manufacturing, or Drafting TechnologyRequired Experience:
5 plus years drafting mechanical components, layouts, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and/or packaged skid unitsRequired 3rd party Certifications/Qualifications:
None.
Other skills:
Experience with and use of any of the following tools: AutoCAD, Solidworks, SolidEdge, NX, ProE, or InventorPlus if experience with the following: COMOS, SAP, E3D [PDMS] (desirable),Sound knowledge of relevant international standards and guidelines (ANSI, API, ASME, etc)Basic technical knowledge of piping, pressure vessels, compressors, valves, and skidsPast experience creating general arrangement, assembly, plot plan and isometric drawings and technical illustrations.2nd language German or Spanish preferred.Competencies:
