Overview

Lemonlight is looking for a studio manager to oversee our 10,000 square foot production facility. The studio manager will play a crucial role in maintaining studio organization, coordinating production tasks, and providing support to the production team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, proactive problem-solver, and possesses excellent communication skills. They should also have knowledge of gear, art department, and production coordination, as well as the ability to come up with ideas to optimize studio space. Experience in studio management or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:Be a self-starter who can handle tasks without being directedMaintain studio organization and ensure its continued efficiencyProactively solve problems as they ariseManage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesCommunicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersCollaborate and work well within a team environmentPlan ahead and coordinate with various stakeholders to meet studio tasks and needsTake initiative to elevate the studio and productions to the highest levelPossess knowledge of gear, art department, and overall production coordinationGenerate ideas on how to optimize studio space for maximum efficiencyPrepare for each shoot by checking inventory and setting up studio spacesDemonstrate proficiency with tools and small buildsConfidently guide crews throughout the studio space and provide necessary supportAct as the main advocate for the studio space and its needsExperience:

1-3 years experience in studio management or a related field is preferredStrong organizational skills and ability to maintain an orderly workspaceProblem-solving skills and ability to think criticallyTime management skills and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentProven experience in planning and coordinationFamiliarity with video production equipment and processes is a plusHands-on experience with tools and small builds is desirableConfidence in providing guidance and support to production crews
