Job Description

Primary PurposeProvide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against performance goals.

Essential Function and ResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate company sales and marketing functionsDevelop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodologyDirect and oversee the company's marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and servicesResearch and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project developmentDevelop and execute new product launch strategiesAnalyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and resultsDevelop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal departmental operating budgetsPlan and coordinate public affairs, and communication efforts, and coordinate the management of all other accountsSupervise the planning and development of the company's marketing and communication materialsRepresent the company at various business meetings and/or trade shows to promote the companySupervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programsPromote positive relations with vendors and distributorsWork with department managers to develop five-year business plans for the companyEstablish and implement short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating proceduresAssemble, direct and measure departmental performance of the sales and marketing teams.Manage and support remote team members to assure they have necessary support and resources to succeed.May perform additional duties as required and/or assignedQualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field10+ years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing leadership position within the construction equipment industryExtensive experience executing business plans with large national account and regional customersKnowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change managementExperience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations effortsKnowledge of sales quota goals and revenue expectationsProfessional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred: Master's degree in business or related fieldPreferred: Experience in strategic planning and executionPhysical Demands and Working Environment:

This role will require up to a maximum of 75% domestic/international travel.

Travel dependent on sales team and customer location.Regular trips to Corporate Headquarters to collaborate with leadership team as well as direct reports based in the office.

Must be based near a major metropolitan airport, preferably in the Eastern or Central time zones.Certifications & Documentation

A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company standards, as well as possessing the ability to be insured is required.The ability to obtain a valid United States of America Passport is required.
