Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring the highest level of quality and user satisfaction.Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into intuitive, elegant design solutions.Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform and validate design decisions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization, fostering a culture of design excellence.Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously improve our design processes and deliverables.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Master's degree preferred.5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent.Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.Proven track record of delivering successful design solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.Experience working in the SaaS industry or with enterprise-level applications is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Salary Expectations: $130-160k
Location: Hybrid / Greater Washington DC Area
The Senior Product Designer can expect to work full-time hours, with a blended schedule of onsite/remote work days.
