Responsibilities

Utilizes appropriate communication techniques for positive collaborationAccountable for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned workCoordinates design details with production team; participates in document production, specifications and construction administration as assignedResponsibility for design refinement of aspects of project, including team leadershipDevelops technical solutions in support of design intentLead responsibility for work performed on smaller projects or aspects of larger projects under the direction of a licensed architectSupports Project Designer or Project Manager on developing design concepts and solutionsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.This Job Description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position. The approximate pay range for California is $85,000 to $97,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.

Requirements

Authorized to work legally in the United States without restrictions.Bachelor's or Masters' Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program6+ years post graduate progressive experience in the field of architectureLEED Accreditation a plusPositive attitude, dependability, and willingness to work and grow in team environmentProactive listenerTime efficient self-starter; enjoys fast paced project workWorking knowledge of:Building systems, detailing and t echnologyApplicable codes, regulations, and standardsDesign solution developmentDiffering building types and project delivery methodsProgramming and planning methodsProficiency with Revit and AutoCADWorking knowledge with InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoshopEffective verbal and written communication and presentation techniques
