LT Apparel, the licensee for adidas & Carhartt Kids, is a leading apparel company known for design and manufacturing children’s apparel. We are searching for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming creative visions into high-quality, functional garments for our renowned children's lines.

Assist Carhartt Director for the following:

Collaborate with designers to translate sketches and design concepts into technical specifications.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical packages (tech packs) including garment construction details, measurements, graded specifications, technical sketches, and bills of materials.Utilize a strong understanding of garment construction methods, fit, and patternmaking principles to ensure designs are feasible for production.Create accurate technical drawings and flats using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.Analyze samples, identify potential production issues, and propose solutions to maintain design integrity and quality.Communicate effectively with sample makers, factories, and vendors to ensure accurate production according to specifications.Ensure vendors/factories are following standard blocks to achieve consistent size and fit across the line.Manage and track samples throughout the development process, adhering to deadlines and budgets.Stay current with fashion trends, garment construction techniques, and industry best practices.What we offer:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an Apparel Technical Designer.Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and patternmaking principles.Proficiency in fashion design software (e.g., Accumark, Adobe Illustrator, Fashion PLM)Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A passion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trends in children's wear (a plus).
