Account Executive (Strategic Communications / PR)

Global Gateway Advisors, an award-winning global communications consultancy, is seeking an Account Executive to join our team of dynamic communicators. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to media relations, strategic communications and thought leadership programs for our clients and participating in firm initiatives.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Write and edit press releases, media pitches, media lists, letters, backgrounders, fact sheets, spokesperson bios, etc.Build comprehensive media lists and proactively pitch top-tier and trade reporters and editors for campaigns and company announcements, and build media relationships over timeConduct research and glean insights that inform strategic communication approaches for client initiativesManage monitoring for social and traditional media on behalf of clients and tracks, analyzes topics/themesManage junior team members’ work product, including interns, to ensure high quality and accurate work is completed on timeCore Competencies:Well-organized, skilled multi-tasker and resourceful problem-solverPassionate about tech companies and how they build and protect their reputationExperience in and passion for working with international affairs clientsManage assigned projects with appropriate supervisionNimble and adept at managing more than one project, account or deadline at a timeShow initiative for bringing new ideas or ways of approaching projects to the teamDemonstrate flexibility in working across teams and ability to adapt to project needs and different work stylesProactively seek opportunities to develop skills and sector knowledgeExperience and interest in international affairs, global policy or related topicsSkills and Attributes:BA/BS in a relevant field, such as but not limited to: Communications/Marketing/Public Relations, Political Science, Journalism, International AffairsA minimum of two (2) years of experience in communications; experience with a communications firm, agency or organization with international affairs experience being a plusCollaborative and eager to learnExperience working and interacting directly with clientsHighly organized and meets deadlinesHas a professional presence and can perform with a sense of urgency and a profound client service orientationDemonstrates good judgment and can solve problems independently when neededDemonstrated proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally, across key platformsBase Salary Range:
