The Regional Leader will work directly with the Urban Design + Planning Team’s Co-Directors to oversee all aspects of our urban design and planning work within the north Texas region to ensure the smooth operation of our local resources in support of our firmwide business objectives.Requirements:minimum of 8 years of professional experience in urban design and planning, with a proven track record of leadership and project managementexperience in successfully managing clients, complex projects, and design teamsfearlessly pursue solutions to complex design problemsthink critically, communicate effectively and produce high quality workcollaborate with diverse groups of people on various teamswork with and manage others to advance firm goals and prioritiescontribute to creative efforts on projects and in the officeQualifications:bachelor’s degree or higher in landscape architecture, architecture, community/regional planning or urban design (master’s degree preferred but not required)strong graphic skills, including GIS, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Graphics programssolid communication skills across multiple platformsself-motivated with solid time management skillsability to manage a team and coordinate schedulingexperience preparing and managing presentation materials, plans, reports, research, and analysescomfort with speaking at public meetings and to small groupsexperience facilitating work sessions with groups of various sizesability to collaborate with diverse groups of people and on various teamsAt TBG you will find:commitment to your continued growth and professional developmentinnovation initiatives to unleash bold ideas, including TBG Idea Lab research grantsgenuine, thoughtful care for your health, wellbeing, and life balanceopportunities to make a difference in the communityemployee stock ownership
