We are looking for a skilled Automotive Service Writer to assist with maintaining and repairing vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality, while giving exceptional customer service.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes. As a Service Writer, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns and service requests.Document customer information, vehicle issues, and service requirements accurately.Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs, maintenance services, and associated costs to customers.Prepare comprehensive estimates for parts, labor, and additional services, ensuring transparency and accuracy.Coordinate appointments and prioritize service requests based on urgency and customer needs.Liaise between customers and automotive technicians, conveying service instructions and facilitating effective communication.Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process, including any unexpected delays or additional repairs.Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality standards are met and address any customer concerns or questions.Maintain organized records of service transactions, invoices, repair orders, and customer communication.Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service, quality assurance, and safety regulations.Qualifications:

Valid driver's licenseReliable transportationPrevious experience in automotive service writing, customer service, or a related field preferred.Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and maintenance requirements.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely to customers.Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and resolving issues effectively.Proficiency in computer software and systems used for estimating, invoicing, and record-keeping.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings as needed.Your Benefits:
