Studio Manager
to oversee operations within our in-house studio located in midtown Manhattan. Reporting directly to the Senior Studio Producer, the Senior Studio Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of photo and video shoots for our beauty brand. This role requires to be on-site at our in-house studio daily. Our in-house studio is located in Mid-Town Manhattan, not far from Grand Central Station. Must be able to work weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations Management:
Manage day-to-day operations of the in-house studio, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.Ensure that the studio is properly set up and equipped for each shoot, coordinating with the Senior Studio Producer and production team as needed.Facility Maintenance:
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the studio space, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards for photo and video shoots.Troubleshoot any technical issues with studio equipment and liaise with appropriate vendors for repairs or replacements.Team Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Studio Producer to support the planning and execution of photo and video shoots, both in-house and on location when needed.Coordinate schedules and logistics for studio staff, including photographers, videographers, stylists, and other crew members.Resource Management:
Manage studio budgets, tracking expenses related to equipment, props, and other production necessities.Source and procure studio supplies, props, and equipment as needed, ensuring that all purchases align with project requirements and budget constraints.Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the studio environment, including proper handling of equipment and adherence to COVID-19 protocols.Implement protocols for studio security and access control, safeguarding valuable equipment and assets.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as film, photography, or studio management.Proven experience in a similar role within a creative studio environment, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.5-7+ years relevant experience in studio management & production.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in studio equipment operation and familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.Knowledge of photography and videography techniques, lighting setups, and studio best practices.A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.Must be located in NYC and Surrounding Areas. This role is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Well-qualified individuals seeking to counter a freelance trial will be asked to complete a Test Project.

Salary Range
$100,000-$125,000 USD
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
