Mobile App Sales and Marketing ManagerChicago Music Exchange has a unique opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneural individual to elevate the CME mobile app to the next level! This role combines skills in sales, digital marketing, and copywriting, with the primary goal of increasing total downloads and overall sales revenue. Our app has been live for almost three years, and we need you to collaborate with our marketing, purchasing, and e-commerce teams to make it the most popular app in the music industry!

This position reports directly to our CEO. We will begin reviewing applications June 1.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive sales and increase revenue through the Chicago Music Exchange mobile applicationCreate and implement marketing strategies to increase app downloads, engagement, and conversionsDevelop and execute a strategic roadmap for achieving the app's goals, KPIs and growth with upper managementOversee the app's design, ensuring it's user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligns with brand guidelines (no coding required)Monitor app performance using analytics tools to track user behavior, engagement, and conversions and use data to make informed improvements and changesIdentify and develop new opportunities, features, or revenue streams for the appCraft engaging copy for app notifications, alerts, and messages including keyword-rich titles, descriptions, and engaging app store listings for app store optimization (ASO)Collaborate with departments such as marketing, sales, purchasing, listings, and customer service to align strategies and enhance overall user experienceRequired Skills and ExperienceProficiency with mobile app-specific marketing principles including app store optimization (ASO), engagement, and retentionExperience in strategic growth planningUnderstanding of user experience (UX) fundamentalsAnalytics proficiency and ability to use data to inform decision makingStrong writing and verbal communication skillsAdaptability to evolving technology and industry practicesEffective project and time managementFamiliarity with retail salesA passion for music and music gear!Our tech stackTapcart: Mobile app building platformFigma - App designing platform (similar to Canva/Photoshop)NetsuiteMacOSAdditional Info / BenefitsBase Salary + Commission based on sales performanceFull time position, M-Fri, based out of our store locationBenefits include
