What will I bedoing?

Supporting potential and existing partnerships that will enhance the visibility of the transportation demand management program and improve communications with the public and stakeholders about the program and available options in the region.

Coordinating with our Communications department to ensure development and execution of an effective marketing and communications plan to achieve program goals.

Ensuring proactive and continuous communication, grounded in knowledge of marketing, transportation demand management, and behavioral (or consumer) science best practices.

Providing website content management, social media content development, maintenance of a contact relationship management system, email marketing development, article development, report writing and more to select target audiences.

Attending and organizing relevant community outreach events and campaigns and presenting to select groups about the Travel Demand Management program.

Providing project management and administration support, including assisting with budgeting, expense tracking, reporting, project planning and execution, consultant management, and evaluation.

KeyQualifications

Knowledge of marketing, communications, and outreach; and public relations techniques

Ability to:

oFind, download, interpret and present in a graphic way a worksite, corridor, neighborhood, or region's demographic, employment, and commute pattern data.

oRead and interpret technical documentation.

oCompile, develop and organize data into written reports and publications, presentations etc.

oWork independently to complete projects and tasks

oUse CRM, website content management, and graphic design software (ex: Kentico, Zoho, Canvaa, Adobe Creative Suite)

oExcellent written and verbal (in person, online and over the phone) communication skills

oDemonstrated interest and/or experience in active and shared transportation including transit, biking, walking, sustainability or improving quality of life in communities.

oWillingness to continue learning about active and shared transportation and other transportation demand management strategies.

oHas own transportation and the ability to conduct outreach within the eight-county area with travel reimbursement.

Do you have...

Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study

3years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in urban and regional planning, community development, or public relations, communications, or marketing; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the re-quired knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

3- 5 yearsof related experience

Expected Hiring Range

The expected hiring range for this position is $65,000 to $74,000.
