Marketing Content Coordinator
P3R, the engine behind Pittsburgh's most transformative sporting events including the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events, is seeking a marketing content coordinator. This role will report to the senior manager, marketing & communications and will play a vital role in the growth of P3R's brand through marketing and communications efforts.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:• The desire to inspire others to MOVE• Create compelling content for media including social media, web, email newsletters, and blogs• Manage several types of content such as videos, images, texts, and scripts• Collaborate with all P3R departments including partnerships, operations and the youth department to understand communication objectives, make strategic recommendations, and work with the rest of the marketing and communications team to develop and execute marketing and communications plans accordingly• Develop and grow relationships with key external ambassadors and content creators• Create storyboards and concept maps for content creation• Enhance SEO for P3R and Pittsburgh Marathon websites in addition to YouTube• Video production: including in-studio and field production in addition to editing video with Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut• Work at all P3R and client events
Competencies:• Passionate and enthusiastic self-starter• Superior creativity and ability to think outside the box• Metrics-driven with a passion for content performance metrics• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing• Knowledge of influencer marketing• Interactive social media skills particularly with, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn• Capability to create engaging content aligning with current trends to interest and engage audiences• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Attention to creating inclusive content and maintaining an inclusive mindset• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload effectively• High attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to prioritize workload• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external audiences• Ability to work through high-pressure situations, work independently, and troubleshoot problems• Collaborative and driven to work in a team-oriented and diverse environment• Outstanding customer service skills• Background in fitness industry or sports a plus• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google programs. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), graphic design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere are a bonus.• Experience/Expertise in Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve and in lighting for video in studio environments (training can be provided)
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (experience in marketing and communications preferred)All applicants must have a valid driver's license.
