Our Paid Media Manager oversees the planning, execution, and management of paid advertising campaigns across various media channels. 

We are searching for a decisive, detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative Paid Media Manager to collaborate with clients, team members, and vendors to establish advertising campaign strategies, manage advertising tasks, direct ad research, and evaluate and optimize client ad campaigns to ensure they meet the client's expectations. This role is 90% remote, contract position, with in person meetings for team meetings and client meetings when needed/if requested. Paid Media Manager Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Designing and implementing strategies for paid media campaigns that align with the client’s marketing or communications objectives. This includes identifying target audiences, setting campaign goals, and choosing the appropriate channels (such as social media, search engines, display networks).

2. Budget Management: Allocating and managing the advertising budget to maximize return on investment. This involves forecasting spending, adjusting bids, and optimizing the distribution of budget across different campaigns and platforms.

3. Campaign Management and Optimization: Launching and managing advertising campaigns, monitoring their performance, and making adjustments to improve results. This includes A/B testing, keyword optimization, and demographic targeting.

4. Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing campaign data to evaluate performance against goals. This involves using analytics tools to track metrics like impressions, clicks, conversion rates, and ROI. Reporting these results to senior management and making recommendations based on data insights.

5. Vendor Management: Managing Media Buying vendors and contractors to execute ad campaigns. This includes overseeing their work, providing training if needed and ensuring that the team stays up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.

6. Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as creative teams, sales, and content managers to ensure that the advertising content aligns with the brand’s message and goals. They also negotiate and manage relationships with media vendors and platforms.

7. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensuring that all advertising follows relevant regulations and industry standards, particularly in sectors like healthcare or finance where advertising can be heavily regulated.

8. Innovation: Help develop our small advertising department to meet industry standards and compete with competitors. Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital marketing space, such as new advertising platforms, changes in consumer behavior, and advancements in targeting technologies, to continuously improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Paid Media Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in media buying; management experience

  • Experience in media buying across traditional and digital advertising in regulated industries
  • Understanding of advertising design and marketing principles and techniques.

  • Ability to develop strategies based on industry trends and developments.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, especially when working with multiple projects or teams.

  • Excellent management, negotiation, listening, and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Decisiveness and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships

  • Ability to be client-facing and present ideas
