Join our ‘ohana and be a part of an exciting team of professionals dedicated to serving our kama‘āina and introducing our islands to the world!* Position Summary*This position reports to the Program Manager, Technical Publications and is responsible for authoring, editing, revision control, interface control and distribution of technical publications and aircraft manuals for all fleets and provides support to the overall health of Hawaiian Airlines’ Technical Publications Program.* Key Responsibilities** Review and revise aircraft manuals to incorporate updates from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) scheduled revisions and maintain currency with latest aircraft configuration changes. Includes documents such as Flight Crew Operating Manuals (FCOMs), Quick Reference Handbooks (QRHs), etc.* Facilitate documentation revisions and updates to ensure compliance with Airworthiness requirements, Operations Engineering Bulletins, Service Bulletins, etc., as required.* Work closely with Company subject matter experts in the revision process for Company manuals, forms, checklists, bulletins, training material and related documentation.* Author Company manuals, bulletins, and related documents in adherence with Company policies, Federal regulations, and international aviation standards.* Provide quality control within the revision process to ensure compliance and alignment with Company standards.* Maintain the Corporate Technical Publications distribution platform to ensure strict adherence to documentation revision currency controls.* Responsible for the electronic filing, version control, and archiving of master and working files.* Distribute Company documents in electronic and paper formats as required.* Maintain the currency of internal and external documentation in the Corporate Technical Publications library.* Maintain currency of libraries on board all Hawaiian Airlines aircraft.* Maintain electronic manual tracking databases, including distribution and tracking of manual revisions, and manual revision acknowledgment receipts.* Assemble, package, prepare shipping, distribute, and file requests for manuals and revisions.* Facilitate Continuous improvement of departmental Work Instructions (WI’s) and User Guides (UG’s).* Responsible for invoices and budget as requested.* Working alongside duplicating team, to make sure documents are print ready.* ** Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager, Technical Publications.* Minimum Requirements** Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience.* 2 years of related work experience.* Skilled with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)* Ability to accomplish tasks while demonstrating thorough concern for all areas involved, no matter how small.* Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and balance work within the team to ensure the technical publications needs of the operation are met.* Possess the organization and communication skills required to work closely with a wide-range of operational subject matter experts and achieve high quality results.* ** Must be able to possess an AOA badge and a valid driver’s license./ **Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position.
