About CADCA

CADCA is a non-profit organization working to create safe, healthy, and drug-free communities globally. We provide training, technical assistance, and leadership development to community coalitions and organizations working to prevent substance abuse.

Position Summary

CADCA is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote CADCA's mission, programs, and resources. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public health and a strong background in marketing, communications, and project management.

Specific Duties

Strategy Implementation

Work with the Director of Communications and Marketing to understand and address communications and marketing needs and serve as a resource and guide for messaging, design, and implementation strategies.Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing to develop and manage ongoing strategic marketing and communications plans for the overall organization and CADCA's programs and services.Manage CADCA's brand identity and messaging across all marketing, communications, design, and program service materials.Execute visual communication projects and help guide a branded design strategy across the organization.Marketing

Create and execute digital marketing strategies for signature and training events to drive registrations.Develop and execute member recruitment campaigns to grow CADCA's influence, engagement, and revenue.Partner with other CADCA departments and outside partners to meet their marketing and communications needs for their respective programs and services (i.e. Annual Survey of Coalitions, Blue Ribbon Applications, and Dose of Prevention Challenge).Track and analyze campaign performance to assess ROI; routinely report metrics to stakeholders.Public Relations

Develop a media contact database to create earned media opportunities that position CADCA as a thought leader in our field.Assist with media outreach, including writing press releases, templates, pitches, and interview preparation.Content Development

Develop and manage an editorial calendar to enhance community engagement with CADCA's overall brand, staff, and services.Craft high-quality print and digital content, including infographics, one-pager presentations, toolkits, and event and marketing collateral.Lead the development, publication, and marketing of CADCA's weekly e-newsletter.Develop and manage content for CADCA's blog, including content calendar, dissemination plan, and SEO optimization.Write content for CADCA signature events including remarks and talking points.Create high-visibility digital designs for social media, emails, websites, and marketing.Assist the Marketing Associate in developing social media content (text, images, video) to ensure proper coverage, placement, and brand consistency.Engage in other special projects as needed by CADCA staff to include writing, editing, and support.Contribute to the development of CADCA's Annual Report.Provide copyediting for all major print and digital collateral.Project Management

Interface with vendors to support program execution (designers, editors, printers, photographers, videographers).Build and maintain historical files for all communications and marketing projects.Manage the inventory of marketing and event collateral.Track project effectiveness and timelines.Required Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Adobe design suite (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)Proficient in other online design tools such as CanvaKnowledge of CMS platforms and experience with CRM systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Office and database systemsAbility to establish quick rapport with staff and members.Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot issues, and initiate project improvement processesTraining and Credentials

5-7 years' experience in marketing and communications, public health background a plusA bachelor's degree in communications or marketing is required.
